Frank W. Gillette

September 9, 1919 - April 30, 2017

Age 97, of Pike, passed away on April 30, 2017 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

Frank was born on September 9, 1919 in Nunda, NY son of the late Hugh and Ethelyn Sawyer Gillette. He was dedicated to his work at Morton Salt Co. and enjoyed his position as a production superintendent for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps having served during World War II.

Frank was a longtime member of the Free & Accepted Masons and also a longtime member of the former Pike Community Club. He was an avid golfer.

Frank was predeceased by his wife, Shirley who died in 2008; his brother, E. Dwight Gillette and his sister, Marion Gillette Albro.

Surviving are his children, Douglas (Elaine) Gillette of Warsaw, Nancy “Lee” Marley of Pike; his grandchildren, Mark (Marcie) Chamberlain, Mike Marley, Leighanne Marley, Ken (Kim) Marley, Kelly Marley; 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
