Frances S. Lowe

February 11, 1925 - August 25, 2009

Age 84, a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, formerly of Covington, died August 25, 2009.

She was born February 11, 1925 in Perry, daughter of the late George Slocum and Dorothy Smallwood Slocum Barlow. She was the bookkeeper for the Town of Covington for many years and was employed as a cafeteria worker at Perry Central School and Pavilion Central School. She was a member of the Pavilion United Methodist Church and the Wyoming County Republican Women. Mrs. Lowe was a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Perry. She was predeceased by her husband, Town of Covington supervisor Kenneth Lowe in 2005.

Surviving are her son, Ronald (Betsy) Lowe of Pavilion; her daughters, Jacquelyn Tisdale of Livonia, Jean Burrows of Warsaw; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.

Friends may call Friday 12 – 2 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held Friday at 2:30 PM. Burial will be in Mountain Ash Cemetery, Covington.
