Age 78, of Route 98, Varysburg died at home on December 22, 2011.
He was born November 16, 1933 in Buffalo, son of the late Frank and Bernice Kobylanski. Ed was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was employed for many years as head custodian at Warsaw Central School prior to his retirement in 2001. Ed was also an avid bowler.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy and his son Frank Kobylanski.
Surviving are his children, Joseph (Dawn) Kobylanski of Attica, Denise Shearing of Hinsdale, William (Lisa) Kobylanski of Wadsworth, Edward (Mary Jane) Kobalynski of Leicester, Susan (Todd) Hilton of Orangeville, Christopher Kobylanski of Varysburg; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sister, Rose Kusmierz of Buffalo; his brother, Frank (Ingrid) Kobylanski of Williamsville. Ed was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Monday and Tuesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Services are private. Private burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, North Java. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228.

To all my friends in the Kobylanski family: I was so sad to hear of Ed's passing. He always had a smile, a laugh and a friendly hand shake for me when he would stop to talk while out walking his dog. Mom and I will miss him.
