In my library world she was "Sweet Doris from "Pike." Always a smile & in the early years of my career always encouraged this inexperienced librarian. She loved the library! I still miss those monthly meetings & the sound of her voice & laugh linger in my mind.

I will always remember Doris Flint as a special person at the library. She would always ask if I found what I was looking for and if to loud just look at you and then you knew it was time to go or just quit down .. I also was her paper boy when I was growing up as well. Here in Vero Beach, we were sad to hear about Aunt Dot's passing.Dawn has done a wonderful job seeing to her mother all these years. We were glad to see her a few years ago when we visited Pike. We always enjoyed getting together with her when she and Ned came down here to spend the winters with Jack. We often had family Sunday dinners together. Fond memories of a great lady! Our sympathies to all our family members. love. Kitty,Brian,Kari and Kevin Rodgers
