Feb 5.11 from John Lapp Jr:
I am so sorry for the passing of Don. I didn't know of his passing until today, February 5, 2011. Don was a champion of the common man, fighting corruption at all levels. He once said he didn't run for public office because he could do more from the outside. His insightful window notices kept many abreast of behind-the-scenes politics. He has left a vacuum which few can fill. I pray for his wife and family and am saddened to hear of his passing.

Aug 26.10 from Randy LaWall:
So sorry to hear of your loss. I spent many week ends with Paul at his home. Don was always kind to me. He would always have something for Paul and I to do, but it was always fun. I remember riding around on the Snap On Tool bus on Saturdays as he would make his rounds. He always took Paul and I to an AW for lunch and one of those great root beers in the frosted mug. He would always call me "Spud" and laugh. It was a good laugh.

Aug 21.10 from Jane Stephens:
Don was such a unique, highly intelligent individual who marched to his own drummer. He stirred things up, usually for a good reason. He will be missed.

Aug 18.10 from Ron Hotis:

Aug 13.10 from glennfisher:
