Donald A. Myers

November 24, 1933 - April 12, 2017

Age 83, of Warsaw, passed away on April 12, 2017 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

He was born November 24, 1933 in Hume, NY son of the late Ernest and Rose Kruppner Myers. Don was employed for many years at the Sylvania Company in Batavia prior to his retirement. Don was a man of many interests. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and working on and restoring automobiles. He was a gun collector and a motorcycle enthusiast, who in earlier years enjoyed racing motorcycles. Don also had a passion for history.

Don was predeceased by his wife of sixty-two years, Margaret Myers who died May 22, 2016.

Surviving are his children, Donald, Jr. (Lisa) Myers of Wyoming, NY, Paul (Kim) Myers of Warsaw, Theresa (Patrick) Donahue of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Peter (Lynette) Myers, Kelli (Ray) Goulet, Casey Donahue, Heather Myers, Rachel Myers, Tracy Myers and Christopher Donahue; his brother, Joseph Myers of South Warsaw. He was the brother of the late Robert Myers and Virginia Fronczak.

Friends may call Saturday, April 15 from 3 – 4:30 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Don’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 4:30 PM. Private burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield Springs. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Sunshine Fund, 62 Prospect St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
