Diane L. Woodworth

July 25, 1952 - November 15, 2016

Age 64, of Warsaw, died November 15, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

She was born July 25, 1952 in Wellsville, NY daughter of the late Harold, Sr. and Marjorie Hale Cornelius. Diane spent several years as a coordinator for Peers Helping Peers in Warsaw.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Shawndra Barrett and her grandson, Dawson Barrett.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Dakota Barrett and Dezsiree Barrett; her siblings, Dennis (Louise) Cornelius of Gouverneur, NY, Linda (Dave) Baker of Attica; several cherished nieces and nephews; close friend, Kathy Dukelow of Warsaw. Diane is the sister of the late Rosemarie Osborne and Harold Cornelius, Jr.

Friends may call Thursday, November 17 from 7 – 9 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Diane’s service will be held Friday, November 18 at 11 AM. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o Dennis Cornelius, 8 Old Route 58 North, Gouverneur, NY 13642; to be used for the benefit of Diane’s grandchildren.
