Denise Head Maillet

October 30, 1965 - November 13, 2013

Age 48, of Attica, on November 13, 2013 started a new journey after a courageous battle.

She is survived by her amazing family, Todd, Ursula, Owen and Mona. She was the loving daughter of Harvey and Sally Spink Head and wonderful sister of Jeaneen (Tim) Watson and Tim (Deb) Head all of Attica. She was also a fun loving aunt to Spencer and Westin Head and Allyson and Hannah Wheeler.

Denise worked alongside Bill at Hans Moeller Jewelers in Attica for many years. She loved cheering on her kids at soccer and baseball games and was on the board of the Vincent Almeter Memorial Park in Varysburg. She was an avid gardener and friend to many.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, November 23 at 11 AM at Holy Family Parish, Route 98, North Java. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maillet Educational Fund, 162 Exchange Street, Attica, NY 14011. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Denise always had a smile that could light up a room, a laugh that was contagious and true sincerity in her desire to help you. There was no way after an interaction with her, that you could walk away grumpy because she gave you a reason to smile! I thank her for impressing me with this memory which now gives me the ability to remember her with that big bright smile and laugh; when I think of her, I will emulate her with a BIG smile in honor of all those she gave me.
