Mrs. Johnson and Family, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I was lucky enough to tag along with Dave as an SSP during his last Semester prior to working at GCC prior to his retirement and learned a lot from him about working in the area of Campus Safety and really started to help me develop as far as the occupation that I now enjoy everyday.

Apr 24.17 from Tim Wilcox:
Prayers for the entire family.

Apr 23.17 from Stephen Wise:
I worked with Dave for a brief time at GCC. I was just starting as the Director of the Campus Safety department and Dave retired a few months later. I was quickly impressed by Daves friendly and approachable attitude. Clearly he was a man of great character and integrity. I wished I had an opportunity to serve with him longer. I was very saddened by the news of his passing.
