Age 63, of Nunda, NY, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, July 10, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He will be rejoining his father, Raymond Smith and siblings, Louise Smith Bennett, Corky Smith, Douglas Smith, Roger Smith and Raymond Smith.
He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retiree of Akzo Salt Co.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carol Davies Smith; four children, David Smith of Nunda, Michael (Kim) Smith of Nunda, Niki (Christopher) Parker of LeRoy, Franci (Michael) Reynolds of Linwood; his mother, Mary White Baar of Nunda; his brother, Dean (Wilma) Smith of Nunda; his sister, Lois Wood of Nunda; four grandchildren, Nevin, Erica, Brooke, Ryan and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the family or the Nunda Fire Department or Livingston County Hospice.
