David A. Kaczmarek, Sr.

September 16, 1953 - August 6, 2014

Age 60, of Castile, died unexpectedly on August 6, 2014.

He was born September 16, 1953 in Warsaw, son of the late Raymond and Virginia Zamowski Kaczmarek. Dave worked for 34 years at Markin Tubing Company in Pearl Creek. He was employed as a mill operator. He was a member of the Perry VFW club and he was an avid hunter and golfer. He enjoyed camping as well.

Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Rhonda Covert Kaczmarek whom he married on April 20, 1974; his children, Amy (Todd Smith) Kaczmarek of Castile, David A. (Trish) Kaczmarek, Jr. of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Brittany, Christian, Jacob, Bailey, Jade, Kendra and Emily; his sister, Judy Kaczmarek of Johnsonburg; his brother, Gary (Michelle) Kaczmarek of Arizona; his brothers and sisters in law, Ron (Wanda) Covert of Silver Lake, Rick (Beverly) Covert of Perry Center; his nephews, Christopher and Nicholas Kaczmarek. He was the brother of the late Daniel Kaczmarek.

Friends may call Wednesday, August 13 from 5 – 7 PM at the Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile. Following visitation a reception will be held at the Perry VFW, Washington Blvd., Perry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
