Cynthia A. “Cindy” Trader

February 11, 1957 - November 1, 2016

Age 59, of Varysburg, NY died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 1, 2016.

She was born February 11, 1957 in Brockport, NY daughter of the late Henry, Jr. and Mary Jane Buchinger McCarthy. Cindy graduated from Pembroke Central School and for many years owned and operated Cindy’s Country Inn in Attica. In recent years, she has worked as a meat clerk for Tops Markets in Warsaw.

Cindy was a member of the Harder-O’Donnell American Legion Post in Attica and the Wyoming County Veterans Club in Warsaw. She loved spending time with family and friends and she was an avid bowler and Buffalo Bills fan. She also enjoyed playing cards.

Surviving are her children, Steve Trader of Varysburg, Chad Trader of Varysburg, Jennifer Hepp of Alden; her grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Dylan, Bryce, Gavyn, Aleigha, Blake and Ava; her siblings, Melodie Baker of Norfolk, VA, Wayne (Donna) McCarthy of Pavilion, Mike McCarthy of Owego, Ray McCarthy of Churchville, Todd McCarthy of Rochester, Steve McCarthy of Moultrie, GA.; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry McCarthy.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 6 at 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HomeCare & Hospice, 450 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569.
