Clarence E. Wagonblott

September 26, 1945 - June 15, 2016

Age 70, of Castile, NY died on June 15, 2016 at his home under the loving care of his family and hospice.

He was born September 26, 1945 in Buffalo, NY son of the late Clarence and Alma Steege Wagonblott. Clarence was employed for many years at the Markin Tubing Company in Wyoming, NY. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Old Paths Chapel in Perry.

Clarence enjoyed spending time on his boat fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, playing guitar, doing remodeling work and he was a model train enthusiast. Clarence loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of forty-six years, Margaret Hartman Wagonblott whom he married on February 20, 1970; his daughters, Heather (Andy) Davis of Portageville, Audra (Michael) Beardsley of Gilbertsville, PA; his grandchildren, Drew (Frieda) Davis, Ashley Davis, Bethanie Davis, Jenna Davis, Hannah Davis, Alex Beardsley, Kylie Beardsley, Brayden Beardsley, Nathan Beardsley; his sister, Alma (Phillip) Mergel; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert, Norbert, Don, Allen and Raymond Wagonblott, Norma Altman and Joan Pirson.

There are no calling hours. Clarence’s memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, June 25 at 10 AM at the Old Paths Chapel, 181 S. Main St., Perry, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HomeCare & Hospice, 450 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569 or Crossroads House, 11 Liberty St., Batavia, NY 14020. Arrangements are being completed by the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
