Charles L. Flint

September 30, 1920 - August 10, 2016

Age 95, of Cohocton, NY, died peacefully at home on August 10, 2016.

He was born September 30, 1920 in Warsaw, son of the late James and Lola Niver Flint. In early years, Charles was a co owner of a family farm. He then was employed for about sixteen years as a cattle appraiser for the New York State Department of Agriculture. He enjoyed doing genealogy research and was a member of the Warsaw Lodge of the Free & Accepted Masons.

Surviving are his wife, Arlene Griffith Flint, whom he married on March 2, 1963; his children, Philip (Deborah) Flint of Columbia, KY, Pamela (Dennis) Young of Cohocton; stepchildren, Joyce (Doug) Neeley of Plano, TX, George (Claudia) Flint of Plano, TX, Kenneth (Marlene) Flint of Steamboat, CO, Carol Perrone of Ilion, NY, James (Mary) Flint of Ilion, NY, Paul (Christine) Flint of Ilion, NY, Rose (David) Clanton of Warren, AR, Raymond (Marjorie) Flint of Bedford, TX; 4 grandchildren; 20 step grandchildren; 25 step great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild; his siblings, Thomas (Janice) Flint of Warsaw, George (Sandra) Flint of Arkport, William (Elizabeth) Flint of Warsaw, Romona (Richard) Sikes of Darien; several nieces and nephews. He was the stepfather of the late Charles Flint and brother of the late Kenneth Flint, Ethel Spencer, James Flint, Jr. and Melvin Flint.

There are no calling hours. Services will be private. Private burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield Springs. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
