Carl A. Mote

April 26, 1940 - July 22, 2017

Age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on July 22, 2017 at the Mockingbird Campgrounds in Arcade.

He was born April 26, 1940 in Perry, NY son of the late Paul and Ruth Bolton Mote. Carl was employed for forty years at Lapp Insulator Company in LeRoy, prior to his retirement in 2002. He loved spending time with his family and friends at the Mockingbird Campgrounds. Carl also enjoyed sharing his homemade wine with family and friends. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Keller Mote; his daughters, Laurie (Bob) Kennedy of Wyoming, NY, Karen (Sean) Heppner of Castile; grandchildren, Kim Cobb, Ashley (Andy) Aumer, Stephen Kennedy, Jessica (Dennis Schmitt) Heppner, Karl Kennedy; three great grandchildren; his sister, Pauline Childress of Florida; brother-in-law, John Richards of Florida; sister-in-law, Barbara (Paul) Wozniak of Warsaw; eleven nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Bruce Young, Charles Mote, Winona Bachalard and Wilma Richards.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 26 from 2 – 6 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Carl’s service will be held immediately following visitation at 6 PM. Private burial will be in West Perry Cemetery.
