Brian R. Maines

September 2, 1972 - April 5, 2010

Age 37, of Benedict St., Silver Springs, died April 5, 2010. He was born September 2, 1972 in Warsaw, son of Gary and Marcia Sager Maines of Castile. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Brian was employed with the United States Post Office in Warsaw for over 12 years.

He was vice commander of the Bates – Courtney American Legion Post in Silver Springs and a member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club in Warsaw and the Town of Gainesville Republican Committee. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and coached with the Silver Springs Little League for many years. Brian was devoted to his family and proud of his service to his country.

Surviving along with his parents are his wife of 17 years, Michelle Stout Maines; his son, Brandon Maines and daughter, Makenzie Maines both at home; his brother, Brent Maines of Silver Springs; his grandparents, Bill and Joyce Sager of Gainesville, Donald and Betty Maines of Lancaster; his parents in law, Donald and Tree Stout of Castile, Donna and David Isaacs of Rochester; his brothers in law, J. C. Stout of Castile, Mike (Laurie) Hackett of Pavilion; his sister in law, Jennelle (Chris) Hoesel of Cheektowaga, 1 niece, 4 nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was the brother in law of the late Halisha Isaacs and grandson of the late Frances Sevor.

Friends may call Friday 4 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a veteran’s memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences at http://www.robinsonandhackemer.com.
