Barbara Jean Naprawa

May 23, 1933 - October 6, 2017

Age 84, of Warsaw, passed away on October 6, 2017 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born May 23, 1933 in Olean, NY daughter of the late Blake and Nellie Weston Conaway. In earlier years, Barbara was a teacher for students with learning disabilities. Following their marriage, she became the business manager for her husband, Dr. Thaddeus Naprawa.

Barbara was an avid bridge player and she enjoyed gardening. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was one of Barbara’s greatest joys in life.

Barbara is predeceased by her son, Jeff Naprawa.

Surviving are her husband of forty-eight years, Dr. Thaddeus Naprawa; her sons, Steven (Kathy) Naprawa of Baldwinsville, NY, James (Amanda) Naprawa of Walnut Creek, CA, Andrew (Jessy) Naprawa of Toledo, OH, Timothy (Diana) Naprawa of Danville, CA; nine grandchildren; her brother, Dick (Joyce) Conaway of Silver Lake, NY; her sister, Carol (the late Charles) Humphrey of Sparta, TN.

There are no calling hours. Services will be private. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.

On March 17, 1989, you delivered Maegan Ann Maloney, a beautiful baby girl that I carried for my sister .... You said I was "your first" ...... Then you performed emergency surgery on my sister, Kathy Maloney, while she was visiting w Maegan ... Tubal pregnancy, again ... 4 years later she got pregnant and went full term !!!!! We thank you for that 2nd miracle baby, Maryella Maloney .... You were/are the BEST !!! Just wanted to let you know, my entire family was saddened to hear of your loss .....
