Barbara J. Smithers

November 16, 1953 - May 6, 2010

Age 56, of Wilder Rd., Warsaw, died May 6, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

She was born November 16, 1953 in Flint, MI, daughter of the late Ed Beech and Geraldine Beech of Charleston, SC. She was employed as a clerical worker and was fond of animals and anything artistic.

Surviving along with her mother are her husband, Douglas Smithers; her son, Chuck Hempling of Mobile, AL; her brothers, Butch Stuart of Charleston, SC, Daryl (Julie) Beech of Charleston, SC; her sister, Lynnette (Jim) Haas of Albuquerque, NM; her grandson, Toby Hempling and a niece, Jackie Beech.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450. Online condolences at http://www.robinsonandhackemer.com.
