Age 94, of Union St., Pike, NY, died January 29, 2009 at the Wyoming Co. Comm. Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born August 28, 1914 in Pike, daughter of the late John and Lena Sabin Powers. She worked for many years for the former Robeson Cutlery Co. in Castile. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband, John Rowe in 1968.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Barbara Moore of Pike, Brenda (Al) Milillo of Castile; her sister-in-law, Joyce Powers of Springville; her grandchildren, Carla (Bob) Hartung of Endicott, Robin (Doug) Winters of Rochester, Robert (Betsy) Moore of Clifton, VA, Paula (Dave) Coleman of Arcade, Paul (Sue) Moore of Pike, John (Suzanne) Moore of Warsaw, Angela (John) Proper of Silver Springs, Pamela Milillo of Castile, John (Christa) Milillo of Warsaw; 18 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile where a service will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Burial will be at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Pike.
