Albert C. Weiser

January 3, 1931 - October 26, 2016

Age 85, of Warsaw, died October 26, 2016 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born January 3, 1931 in Buffalo, NY son of the late Vincent and Laura Wherry Weiser. Albert was employed for twenty-seven years as a tire builder at Dunlop Tire Company in Buffalo. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War. He was a member for over sixty years of the American Legion and was a member of the Walter Klein Post American Legion in Warsaw.

Albert enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and conservation. In earlier years, he was actively involved with boy scouting. Albert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years, Patricia Turner Weiser; his children, Albert J. (Ruthann) Weiser of East Amherst, Wayne R. (Kathy) Weiser of Cheektowaga, David P. (Vicki) Weiser of Glenwood, Pamela A. (Joseph) Hess of Warsaw; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his brother, Raymond R. (Leatrice) Weiser of Tonawanda. He was the father of the late Joseph M. Weiser.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, December 17 at 11 AM at the Warsaw Masonic Lodge, 75 S. Main St., Warsaw. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
